Arroz con Leche
Ingredients
- ¼ cup parboiled rice
- 2 cups milk
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 100ml evaporated milk
- 50ml condensed milk
- 1 Tbsp flaked almonds, toasted
- ½ Tbsp sultanas
Method
- Place the parboiled rice in a saucepan with the milk and cinnamon and bring to the boil.
Then turn down the heat and leave it to simmer for 15–20 minutes. - When the rice is just cooked and tender, add the evaporated milk and condensed milk and
cook until the mixture thickens but is still runny. Be careful to not overcook the rice. - Ladle into serving bowls and garnish with the flaked almonds and sultanas.
